About the event
Join MNWiC on Saturday, April 12, as we watch PBS Terra’s new series: Women of the Earth. Women of the Earth is a short form documentary series capturing the resilient work of female land stewards across the United States. With episodes on sheep, hemp, food security in Indigenous communities, and urban aquaponics, there will be plenty to learn. Cheryl Jirik has once again opened her home to us in Webster, so bring a dish to pass and get ready to settle in for good connection, an inspiring film, and a lively post-film discussion. Paper plates and compostable cutlery will be provided.
The goal of this event is to leave knowing more women with similar interests, and to learn about the many programs, organizations, federal and state agencies, and individuals who can connect you with technical and financial assistance.
